LSU 5-0 in SEC

Darrel Mitchell made five first-half 3-pointers and scored 24 points as LSU defeated Georgia 81-52 Wednesday.
Darrel Mitchell, who sat out the final nine minutes, made 9-of-13 shots from the field, including 5-of-7 from behind the 3-point line. The five 3-pointers matched his season high. LSU is 13-5, 5-0 in the SEC.
Dave Bliss led the Bulldogs (12-7, 2-4) with a season-high 12 points. Levi Stukes, Georgia's leading scorer, finished with four points - eight below his season average.
LSU came out blazing against the Bulldogs and knocked down seven of its first 10 shots in taking an 18-2 lead.
ARKANSAS 71, MISSISSIPPI 58: Jonathon Modica scored 20 points, and host Arkansas (14-5, 3-3 SEC) used a stifling zone defense to pull away from Mississippi (13-5, 3-2) .
C.J. Watson scored 19 points and No. 19 Tennessee (13-3, 4-1 SEC) followed its weekend upset of Florida by routing host Mississippi State (11-8, 1-5).
