I read Ray Harris' Jan. 16 letter "Roundabouts are a waste" with great interest. I have visited countries in Europe and Asia where roundabouts control the flow of traffic without difficulty. Most drivers follow the rules of the road; others are always in a hurry to arrive no place very quickly, and they generally do. If Harris would look a little more closely, he will discover that the real problem is not the possibility of using roundabouts.
