People have gone cell phone crazy

I have just come from buying groceries at Hunter's Crossing Publix. I think I must have been the only one not on a cell phone. I only use mine when traveling so I guess I am not normal. I saw three people going into Publix asking about what to buy. What happened to lists?
There was a woman in a wheelchair just having a big conversation and holding up the 10 or less line. Then, when I left, a lady with a friend said, "Oh! I missed a call. I will be back." She went outside trying to get the party back. What is so important?
I pass a college student walking every morning talking on the cell phone. Stay at home and finish your call. This is not counting the number of people who can't seem to drive without the phone up to the left ear and arm on the arm rest.
I am tired of seeing them on desks and in people's hands when they go anywhere. No one in Gainesville should ever miss a phone call because they have their phones with them at all times.
Don't forget the mall. I saw a man and woman pushing a stroller, both on cell phones. Were they talking to each other? I have employees coming into my office on the phone. I ask them to put the phone away and I will help them. Then I am the rude person.
