He's not above the law

No one- not even the president - is above the law. Illegal wiretaping is against the law as well as uncontitiutional.
There are provisions for immediate wiretapping of individuals who apparently guilty of wrongdoing, providing the wiretapping is followed up with the proper documents (i.e. a warrant for the wiretapping within 72 hours). This is not an unreasonable law.
President Bush has broken so many of our laws already it is extremely hard to keep up with all of them. It is easier to check out the ones he has not yet broken.
