The response to the Sun's annual series "Since You Asked," which is published in the week between Christmas and New Year's, has been so favorable that we plan to make it a periodic feature in the new year.
So you keep on asking and we'll keep on trying to find answers to the things you've been wondering about in the Gainesville area.
The Sun recently completed its fourth-annual installment of the series that is designed to find explanations to some of the Gainesville area's most pressing head-scratchers.
In this popular series, Sun reporters track down answers to questions submitted by readers.
These are questions that come to mind as people go about their everyday lives. Samples: What's that new building going up on Such-and-Such Street? Who is Veitch Street named after?
What's the meaning of life? That question is off limits. So are other overly serious queries related to such things as the nature of government or a personal dispute.
Send your questions to Since You Asked, The Gainesville Sun, 2700 SW 13th St., Gainesville, Fla. 32608. Or by e-mail to email@example.com and put Since You Asked in the subject line. Include a daytime phone number.
If your question is selected for publication, we'll make arrangements to get a photo of you to run with the story - space permitting.
