Doonesbury would fit liberal editorial pages

A writer from Melrose suggests that Doonesbury be moved from the comic strips to the opinion section. Great idea. Do it, please.
Gary Trudeau's cartoons are nothing more than liberal propaganda continually disparaging President Bush and totally lacking in humor.
The same letter writer would use Doonesbury to replace the "constantly conservative political cartoon" that currently appears on the editorial page, apparently referring to The Sun's Jake Fuller. Liberal subscribers, he continues, have had to live with a conservative funny in the opinion pages for years.
Oddly, I always thought it was the other way around; that conservative-minded subscribers, for years, have been putting up with predominantly left-wing viewpoints in The Sun's editorial pages.
