Public property should be open to all groups

Upon reflection, I feel I may have been misinterpreted in the Dec. 9 letter that I wrote about the use of public property by religious groups.

If the government allows use of its property by some private groups then it should not deny the reasonable use of the same property by groups that are religious in nature. If the town square can be used for political rallies then it should be available for religious rallies as well. The same goes for Earth Week, Gay Pride Week, Cultural Arts Week or the rest.
