Five questions with UF tight end Tate Casey
By Sun sports writer Brandon Zimmerman
Q: You had a Mohawk during two-a-days. Why did you cut it off?
A: Well, when you have a girlfriend you can't keep something like that for that long. I just wanted to bring some fun into two-a-days.
Q: Who is your favorite University of Florida athlete outside the football team?
A: That's a tough one. I don't want to hurt anybody on the baseball team's feelings. But just to watch in general, I'd have to say (first baseman) Matt LaPorta because I love watching him hit the long ball. I'd watch him hit a home run any day. I actually watched a lot of the College World Series because I had a buddy back home (in Longview, Texas) who went to Texas before he transferred. So we were joking around about who was going to win it.
Q: If you had to leave America what country would you live in and why?
A: Probably Sweden for the blonde hair and blue eyes. I used to work for a minor league hockey team with a bunch of Swedish players whose wives were fine.
Q: Who is the first celebrity you had a crush on growing up?
A: Cindy Crawford. When I was growing up I remember my brother and his friends were always talking about her. They'd post up pictures in their room. So it would probably be Cindy Crawford.
Q: What reality TV show would you have the most success on?
A: Definitely not "The Bachelor". I don't know. I'd probably say "Survivor" or "The Real World."
