Thankfully, we seem to be returning to our roots

With a new Supreme Court justice selection under way, I thought it would be appropriate to remember what the very first Supreme Court justice, John Jay, said: "Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers."
It is being said that the conservative movement that is sweeping across our great country is due to Bush propaganda (instilling fear and brainwashing). I think the truth is that our citizens are returning to their roots, and I for one am thankful and grateful we as a nation are uniting in our Founding Fathers' beliefs.
Let it be remembered that Patrick Henry said, "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians, not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
