On black journalists at TV 20

I was informed that WCJB TV 20 news anchor Gary Mattingly was told that his contract would not be renewed.
This is a sad day for the Gainesville community and surrounding areas as Gary was a strong voice in Gainesville and especially the black community.
Gary gave the news with clarity and sincerity.
When Carla Banks left TV 20, I e-mailed the station and the reply I received was that her contract was not renewed.
It appears black journalists cannot have a long-term career at WCJB.
