5th Annual Eastside Community Health Fair
What: Medical screenings, including blood pressure, bone density, vision, HIV/AIDS, diabetes and hearing; information on housing, free legal aid, social services and pharmaceutical assistance; entertainment by the Flossie McClendon Drill Team, Friendship Baptist Church Dance Team and the Laverne Porter Dancers. Sponsored by UF Shands Healthcare and McDonalds of Gainesville.

Saturday's event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Center, 1028 NE 14th St., will feature health screenings, entertainment and booths by community groups and social service agencies.
Among the medical screenings will be blood pressure, bone density, vision, HIV/AIDS, diabetes and hearing tests.
Forty-five vendors who offer a range of services will have representatives from their organizations there to talk with you.
Kids' activities include a visit by Ronald McDonald and the tooth fairy.
The Flossie McClendon Drill Team, Friendship Baptist Church Dance Team and the Laverne Porter Dancers will perform.
