Early morning crash on Main Street

Rescue workers with Gainesville Fire Rescue wait to help a wrecker driver as he positions his tow-truck Friday morning, January 14, 2005. According to Gainesville Police, Jason Bowman, 34, of Gainesville was pinned underneath the trailer of a semi when he collided with a food delivery truck shortly after 5 a.m., traveling south through the intersection of Main Street and SW 16th Avenue. The driver of the truck was not injured. Bowman was taken to Shands at UF with a minor head injury.
