Four-laning decision represents a sacrifice

This is in regard to the four-laning of SW 24th Avenue.
One, the decision to reconsider the original vote to keep the road at two lanes was inappropriate.
Two, citizen trust is eroded with the precipitous decision to reconsider the original vote.
Three, citizen trust is eroded with changes in the orderly working of the government.
Four, the two-lane option came about through a lengthy process. This decision violates preservation of our recourses.
Five, it's the Wal-Mart thing again.
Should we sacrifice homeowners' investments for the sake of Clark Butler and Wal-Mart? Please no.
