A traffic suggestion

The Sun published a beautiful rendering of University Corners! Since it has passed the planning phase, now is the time for the Department of Transportation and traffic planners to step in, as I am sure that the roadways can handle any traffic generated.
We should go to the plans for Tower Road and institute them for University Avenue and 13th Street. It seems that someone thinks that two-lane roads and traffic circles can "handle anything."
I would suggest that DOT narrow University Avenue and 13th Street to two lanes and put in a traffic circle at the intersection. While they are at it, why not narrow both roads to two lanes, from Newberry to Hawthorne and from Lake City to Ocala? Surely that can handle the traffic we already have.
