  • A Wisconsin woman died Sunday and two other people were injured in a two-car crash on Interstate 75 in Columbia County.
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol said Lora Lawler, 57, of Milwaukee died when the 2004 Hyundai she was a passenger in swerved to avoid another car, troopers said. Lawler had not been wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
Bonita K. Weimerskirch, 58, of Westerville, Ohio, was driving a 1993 Lincoln south on I-75 when she drifted into the Hyundai's lane, troopers said.
Both cars swerved to avoid each other, troopers said, and the Hyundai, driven by Andrea K. Lawler, of Milwaukee, traveled off the road and out of control.
Weimerskirch and Lawler were both injured, troopers said.
