Ron Zook is trying to woo recruits to Illinois, but he's having trouble holding on to assistant coaches at the Big 10 school.
Larry Fedora, who served as Florida's offensive coordinator last year and went with Zook to Illinois, has agreed to instead join the staff at Oklahoma State, sources have told The Sun.
Joe Wickline, Florida's offensive line coach the last three years, will also leave Illinois for Oklahoma State.
Fedora and new Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy coached together at Baylor in the early 1990s.
Gundy replaced Les Miles, who was named the new head coach at LSU Monday.
Zook, who had hoped to take most of his coaches with him to Illinois, now has only defensive backs coach Dan Disch from the Florida staff.
