On Jan. 19, 2004, The Sun published an article criticizing substitute teachers in Florida. My wife, Nancy, has "subbed" at GHS for about 10 years. She has taught almost every subject, grade and ability level. She holds two college degrees, including a master's degree from the Indiana University School of Business.
At GHS, she receives $56 a day before deductions. Nancy loves the GHS staff, students and alumni, and they feel the same about her. Nancy does a great job as a substitute teacher, and I'm proud of her desire to serve.
