It is now quite obvious that President Bush suckered our congressional leaders into voting to support the Iraq war by promising to first seek and get U.N. approval. Bush broke his promise, lied and made up a phony case about the dangerous threat of Iraq due to them having weapons of mass destruction.
With the coming presidential election and considering the sleazy track record of the Bush administration, American voters can expect every dirty trick in the book by this administration to try and cover up and divert attention from this immoral Iraq war. Already they started with Bush's ridiculous plan to legalize illegal immigrants. And his fantasy vision of space exploration with money we don't have because of the huge financial deficit caused by the Iraq war.
We have some great democratic presidential candidates willing to take on the responsibility of bringing back dignity to our country. In the meantime it is the responsibility of our Congress to put a "lame duck" stamp on this ruthless president until he can be replaced.
