The League of Women Voters of Gainesville/Alachua County reminds voters that there will be a presidential primary on March 9. If you have changed your address, changed your name or have never voted in Alachua County, call the Supervisor of Elections Office and they will mail you your updated voter registration card. The cut-off date for new registrations is 29 days before March 9, and the date is coming up almost immediately.

If it is more convenient for you to cast an absentee ballot, you may request that ballot any time by calling the Supervisor of Elections Office (374-5252), or you may go by and pick up a ballot, if you choose.

As we know, in Florida, our vote counts!

Gainesville
