A Waldo man died Friday when his antique car was rear-ended by another car near Waldo.
John Watts, 73, of 16714 NE 124th Ave., was pronounced dead at the scene on U.S. 301 just south of Waldo, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Watts was driving a 1930 Ford north on U.S. 301 at 2:10 p.m. when he was hit from behind by a 1999 tractor-trailer driven by Zebbie Allen, 48, of Baxley, Ga., according to FHP.
Allen was driving faster than Watts and when he came up behind the Ford he couldn't stop in time, the report states. After being hit, the antique Ford spun around and rolled over, ejecting Watts.
As of Friday evening charges had not been filed, and FHP was still investigating.
