Stop the name calling

What's up with the name calling? It seems that anyone who disagrees with the homosexual lifestyle is labeled a homophobe. Does disagreement constitute an irrational fear?
The act of name calling is actually the fallacy of ad hominem. A fallacy is an illogical argument and rather impertinent in any sophisticated discussion. It seems that some folks need to learn to discuss differences instead of labeling others. Name calling is wrong on the playground and it is wrong on the editorial page.
