A day after getting some bad news with Keith Rivers and Lance Leggett both making plans to go elsewhere, the Florida program got some unexpected good news on the recruiting front.
Cornerback Dawayne Grace from Jacksonville Ed White, who visited Florida last weekend, committed to Florida at an in-home visit from assistant coach Larry Fedora according to two independent recruiting websites.
Grace, who played with projected Florida starting cornerback Dee Webb in high school, is a very similar story to Webb. He grew up a fan of Miami, and many expected him to end up a 'Cane, but he was blown away by Ron Zook and the Florida recruiting pitch.
White coach Dan Disch indicated that he expects Grace to cancel his remaining scheduled visits to Florida State and LSU.
