Arbor Day falls on many different dates

National Arbor Day is the last Friday in April.

However, many states observe Arbor Day on different dates according to their best tree-planting times. Following is a list of their celebrations.

Florida celebrates Arbor Day the third Friday in January, since that is a good time to plant trees.
