Missing is a stereo, a home theater system, a speakerphone, a cordless phone, a VCR and a DVD player, University Police reported.

Police have not identified the body of the man discovered dead in the back bedroom of the first-floor apartment at #7 in building 382 at Maguire Village. The case is considered a murder investigation, said UF Police Lt. Joe Sharkey.

Investigators also have confirmed that the apartment's resident, Sudheer Reddy Satti, 24, has not been seen or heard from since Dec. 31. Satti came to the United States to work on his graduate degree at UF in 2000, police have said.

The University of Florida housing facility is a graduate student and family housing compelx off SW 34th Street.
