SFCC won in the brochure/series for a set of recruiting publications for Student Affairs; the poster category for the 2003-2004 SFCC wall calendar; the viewbook/handbook category for the college guide and calendar; and the "Best Bang for the Buck" category for the low bidding cost to produce the Student Affairs brochure series.
Producing the items were Tabrisha Baker, Jess Delaney, Eva Hedges, Larry Keen, Steve Powell and Pam Thomas, all of News and Publications; and Angela Chin, Kim Kendall and Steve Yongue of Academic Technologies.
SFCC also recently won three Medallion Awards at the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations District 2 convention for placing first in the poster category for the 2003-2004 SFCC wall calendar, second in electronic publications for the faculty search Web site and third in the wild card category for the Library's CD calendar.

McConn teaches at Fort Clarke Middle School. The funds will be used to help buy a music library system for McConn's band students.
