Bush does what he wants

Malcolm Forbes wrote that you can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them. How true.
Now, if our government wants something from anyone and they do not roll over, they are criticized to no end. Look at how France is treated. Look at how the United Nations is treated.
President Bush seems to believe he can tell anyone and everyone in the world what they can or cannot do. Our government fawns over Israel like it can do no wrong. But Israel thinks it has the right to take everything from the Palestinian people.
Our government allows millions of people to go hungry or without medical care while the politicians cut everything and rake in the money. Somehow the politicians go behind the peoples' backs and vote themselves an automatic pay raise. And of course the people do not get to vote on it. They just get to hand over their hard-earned money to the government.
I have an answer about Iraq: Get out. We should never have gone there, and they do not want us there.
I hope that Bush is on his way out. How long will it take to undo the damage he has done?
