We are all being hypocritical

We overfill our plates, yet complain about being fat. We kill innocent people on the roadways, but we don't want to give up our drinking habits. We kill our unborn children because it might be too difficult to raise them. We complain about illegal aliens, yet buy stock in profitable corporations that hire them as cheap labor.
We say we want to fight the war on drugs, but who are the consumers? We say we do not want to go to war with Iraq because of oil, yet which country is the largest consumer of oil products? We say there is too much crime, sexism and racism, yet we want to remove God from public fife.
Seems like we are the problem. Criticizing others is easy, but doesn't the solution rest with each of us in everything we do?
