BRONSON - Despite holding top-rated junior Cornelius Ingram to just four points, Bronson was unable to erase a 17-point halftime deficit and fell 65-62 to Hawthorne Friday.
The Hornets used a 26-11 second quarter effort to pull ahead, led by Rodrick Browning, whose team-high 15 points came on five three-pointers.
Senior guard Shane Schuler led the comeback for Bronson with 22 points and four rebounds.
Kittery Neale led the Eagles with 23 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals, and Courtney Lee contributed 14 points.
