Wife allegedly stabbed man nearly 200 times

HOUSTON - A woman was charged with murder Friday for allegedly stabbing her husband nearly 200 times while he was tied to his bed, then burying the body in the back yard.
Susan Lucille Wright, 26, was jailed without bond pending an arraignment Monday.
The body of Jeffrey Andrew Wright, 34, was found Jan. 18. Authorities are uncertain when he died.
"He was stabbed 193 times," prosecutor Kelly Siegler said. "When it happened, he was tied down to his bed by his wrists and ankles. He still had the ligatures around them."
Wright's attorney, Neal Davis, said his client had serious psychiatric problems caused by "mental and physical torture" inflicted by her husband.
