Will never forget Spurrier

As usual, Pat Dooley's recent article on the Spurrier family was superb. I will always enjoy reading about them and appreciate coach Spurrier for all that he has done for Florida athletics both as a quarterback and as a coach. This is only surpassed by the extreme measure of character they have shown as an extended family.
It was a disappointment to me that on the way to work the next morning I was listening to a radio talk show host, who admittedly has lived in Gainesville for only one year, giving sharp criticism to the article saying such things as "Spurrier is gone - get on with your lives" and "forget Spurrier."
I would suggest that he go to Alabama and tell their fans to "forget Bear Bryant." Then go to Miami and tell their fans to "forget Don Shula" before he tells us to "forget Steve Spurrier."
