Now that everyone has had the time to take down outdoor lights and props, it's time to recognize neighbors in Haile Plantation who were named top holiday decorators. They are:
Grand Prize: Craig and Marilyn Hall in Westfield Commons; Most Fun: Michael and Leslie Groher in Matthews Grant; Most Fun Runner-Up: Jeffrey and Patricia Abrecht on SW 94th Way in Hampstead Park; Best Neighborhood Decorations: Graham's Mill I, 5423 to 5469 SW 91st Terrace (for the fourth year in a row).
Honorable Mentions are: Russ and Dierdre Fogler on SW 91st Way in Haile Village Center; Roger and Marla Reece on SW 97th Terrace in India Station; Greg and Susan Farris on SW 45th Boulevard in The Preserve; and Mike and Carol Oyenarte on SW 97th Terrace in Grahams Mill.
The historic Haile homestead was decorated in the tradition of the builders of the home and the founders of Kanapaha Plantation.
