Terwilliger Music teacher Alice Nippes was busy early in December preparing holiday music for the entire school.
First, the second graders from Leanne Baker's, Tiffany Lake's, Karen Jaffe's classes performed the musical play, "Santa's Star Search," for a primary grade audience.
The following week, Terwilliger's fifth-grade chorus and recorder ensemble - representing students from Dianna Fowler's, Christy Lefsky's, Lee Sheffield's, Tammy Shintock's and Judy Watkins' classes - entertained the entire student body with their "Old Fashioned Holiday" show.
They performed both traditional and contemporary holiday music, including Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa and New Year.
There was also a dance performance by Jennifer Hall, Danielle Brooks and Shanavia Cason.
This program was repeated in the evening as a featured part of the school's PTA program.
As a gift to several of Terwilliger's generous Business Partners, Nippes and the chorus caroled at their businesses.
These businesses were Sun Trust, BellSouth, the Oaks Mall, Burdines, Honey-Baked Ham, O2B Kids and Books-A-Million.
