  • This is the first time since 1992 that the Gators enter this game as the underdog. UF won that game 26-24 and went on to win the SEC's Eastern Division.

  • For the third time this season, ESPN'S "College GameDay" will be on site for a Florida game. The show also was present for the Miami and Tennessee games.

  • Tonight's game features three of the SEC's top four wide receivers - Florida's Taylor Jacobs and Carlos Perez and Georgia's Terrence Edwards.

  • For the first time since Oct. 31, 1992, the Bulldogs enter the game as the higher ranked team. In that game, the Gators pulled of a 26-24 upset and went on the win the Eastern Division title.

  • Tonight's game will feature 181 players from the states of Florida and Georgia. UF has 74 players from Florida and 12 from Georgia. The 'Dogs have 87 players from Georgia and eight from Florida.

  • Since 1990, the Gators are 17-5 following a bye week and 7-2 when the game comes at a neutral site.

  • Georgia has outscored its opponents 163-64 in the first half this season.

  • The 'Dogs are 8-0 for the first time since 1982, the last time Georgia won the SEC title.

  • Florida and Georgia have met every year since 1926, with the exception of 1943, when UF didn't field a team because of World War II.

  • Since 1961 (41 games) this game has been decided by seven points or less 18 times.
