CLEARWATER BEACH - An 81-year-old woman has become the second elderly victim of a fire at a beachfront condominium complex.
Jean Zetterberg had been in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital after she was caught in her fifth-floor condo during the pre-dawn fire Friday.
She lived next door to her son, Charles. Investigators said the fire started in Charles Zetterberg's kitchen.
Another resident, Robert F. Kelly, 75, was found dead Friday in a fifth-floor hallway.
The fire appears to be accidental but remains under investigation, said Wayne Shelor, a Clearwater police spokesman.
Five firefighters and several residents were injured in the fire.
The 134-unit building is home to many retirees.
