PROCESS CONTROL SPECIALIST

JOB OVERVIEW: Buckeye is searching for a candidate to work in our manufacturing organization for our process controls group. This individual will be on a team responsible for maintenance of computer systems including software, hardware and networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assure integrity of computer software, databases, hardware, communication links, networks and utilities. Perform system backups, audit and track system performance.
• Write software programs, build graphics and format reports.
• Modify existing programs and create new ones.
• Keep software and hardware documentation up to date and conduct audits.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware and communication problems.
• Evaluate and install new software releases and hardware revisions and assure system integrity.
• Train technicians and managers in the operation of new software and control systems.
• Respond to troubleshooting calls.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
CANDIDATES THAT POSSESS:

• A minimum 2 year degree from an accredited college in Electrical, Information, Control or Computer Technology or Industrial/Military training equivalency. Commitment to continued education will be considered a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in supporting and programming Honeywell control systems.
• Ability to support all aspects of Honeywell hardware and networks, specifically Data Hiway, UCN and LCN. Know how to troubleshoot.
• Proficiency in advanced graphics building, CL programming and point configuration skills.
• Familiarity with MS operating software for servers and Cisco Ethernet networks.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
