Gatorsports counts down the top 25 games in the SEC for the 2010 season.
No. 4 LSU at Florida
When: Oct. 9.
Why it's must-see TV: The Gators and Tigers have combined to win three of the last four BCS Championship games and are two of the perennial powers in the SEC - and they have played some very memorable games over the years, including the last five. UF and LSU have two of the most talent-laden rosters in the nation, thanks to consistently strong recruiting over the past four or five years.
All-time record: Florida leads the series 55-29-3.
Recent history: Urban Meyer lost two of his first three games against LSU, but the Gators have won the last two, thumping the Tigers 51-21 in The Swamp in 2008 and slipping past LSU 13-3 this past season behind quarterback Tim Tebow, who was making a guarded return from a concussion he suffered two weeks earlier at Kentucky.
Quick hit: For a while last season, it looked the UF-LSU game would mark the first start for Florida quarterback John Brantley, who was running the first-team offense during a bye week while Tebow was recovering from his concussion. But Tebow made it back, delaying Brantley's starting debut to the opener in 2010. Brantley will get his shot at the Tigers on Oct. 9.
