Gatorsports counts down the top 25 games in the SEC for the 2010 season.

When: Sept. 11.

Why it's must-see TV: Georgia and South Carolina have a border rivalry and a penchant for playing close games. Five of the last six games have been decided by seven points or less, and this game is usually an indicator of which team will contend for the SEC East title.

All-time record: Georgia leads the series, 46-14-2.

Recent history: The two teams have played some memorable games especially last year's. Everyone was expecting a defensive battle, but it ended up being a 41-37 Georgia win in Athens. Georgia has won seven of the last 10 games.

Quick hit: Mark Richt has had a lot more success against Steve Spurrier at South Carolina than he did against Steve Spurrier at Florida. He lost his only game against the Spurrier-coached Gators but has won four of five against Spurrier's South Carolina teams.
