Gatorsports counts down the top 25 games in the SEC for the 2010 season.

When: Oct. 23.

Why it's must-see TV: This is one of the many rivalries in the conference fueled by winning streaks. And Alabama has hatred for the Vols because Phillip Fulmer helped the NCAA get the Tide in trouble. Even with Fulmer gone and Lane Kiffin lasting only a year, these two teams still have an intense dislike for each other. By this time of the year, we'll know a lot more about the Vols. Can Tennessee ever be a trap game for Alabama?

All-time record: It's complicated. Alabama should have a 47-38-7 advantage but had to forfeit one game when NCAA sanctions hit. Tennessee still gets credit for a loss in the game. So it's 46-38-7 for Bama and 38-47-7 for Tennessee.

Recent history: Alabama has won three straight, including last season's dramatic 12-10 win in Tuscaloosa when the Tide blocked a pair of Tennessee field goal attempts in the closing minutes.

Quick hit: It's a streaky series. Alabama has had winning streaks of 11, 9 and 7 over the Vols, while Tennessee used the Peyton Manning years to trigger a 7-game streak of its own.
