University of Florida police responded to a call Sunday afternoon and found Boateng and Shawna-Kay Peterkin fighting. According to a police report, Peterkin had already stabbed Boateng with a small knife.

Boateng suffered a minor wound and refused treatment by medical personnel. Boateng and Peterkin declined to press aggravated battery charges against one another, police said.

Both students could be reprimanded because officers referred them to the school's student judicial affairs.

Boateng, a sophomore, has played in two games this season. He has four career receptions for 77 yards.
