Speed kills. That must mean P.K. Yonge High School (Gainesville, Fla.) defensive back, Derrick Robinson is a killer on the football field. Robinson has been called the fastest player in the entire 2006 senior class.
Position: CB, WR
Projected as: CB, WR
Position Rank: 56
Year: Class of 2006
High School: P.K. Yonge Developmental Resea
Robinson, though not rated as highly as most of the top Florida recruits, is an important piece of the class that he has already committed to.
Although he is small for a college star, at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, Robinson brings blazing 4.25-second 40-yard dash speed.
Robinson, like future teammate Riley Cooper, is looking to play both football and baseball at Florida.
Though there is a slight risk that Robinson will sign with a professional baseball team if he is drafted in the 2006 Major League Baseball draft, expect him in orange and blue.
