Wizards guard Bradley Beal must have taken Raptors super fan Drake’s song “Look Alive” to heart in Games 3 and 4 this week. After Beal scored just nine points in Game 2 and looked lifeless on the bench, he woke up to score 28 points in Game 3 and 31 points in Game 4 to help the Wizards hold serve at home to even the series 2-2 against the top-seeded Raptors. These NBA playoffs have been infused with young rookies making a difference for their teams and now it’s time Beal and Wall showed what they can do while still in the prime of their career.

Around the NBA, Thunder forward Corey Brewer has contributed solidly for OKC, but it hasn’t been enough to lift them in the series in which they now trail 3-1 to the Utah Jazz. If the Thunder make another first-round exit this year, there will be no shortage of questions around the team like does anyone want to play with Russell Westbrook next year and will Billy Donovan want/get to stick around?
Celitcs center Al Horford has played well for Boston despite their losses to Milwaukee on the road this week. Big Al has shot over 50 percent and scored in double digits in all four contests as the series shifts back to Boston for Game 5 tonight, tied at 2-2.
