Sunday night saw Florida’s 2018 class suffer its second de-commitment since the departure of coach Jim McElwain.
Taylor Upshaw, a 6-foot-5, defensive end out of Braden River High in Bradenton, announced via his Twitter account he was flipping from the University of Florida to the University of Michigan.

Upshaw committed to Florida in June, but the Wolverines continued to heavily recruit the three-star prospect. Upshaw is expected to take an official visit Saturday to Ann Arbor for Michigan’s 12 p.m. bout with Ohio State.
With Upshaw’s de-commitment, the Gators have 16 verbal commitments in the 2018 class.
